Hi! I have to say about this I'm from Germany and i saw them live with Blind Guardian. I thought its sounds a bit strange, but i remembered the band after a while and bought their first album Lord of the Wasteland. I realy love it and i heard it often, then came their second album Zone of Alienation. I bought the second album instantly and it was great too. My favorite song is "The Nightwatcher", and im sorry for my bad english.

Also from Germany, also saw 'em with Blind Guardian on tour (in Bremen)...actually most times I don't check the support acts, I prefer being surprised...well then Steelwing entered the stage and I was totally flashed...one of the best live-shows I saw so far (first row, right wing...good view). I bought their debut-album on that evening, got it signed and had a little chat with the boys (I just had to say how much Robby looked like Adrian Smith on stage, both style AND the way he moves (and as he is my fave guitarist, that's been another reason for liking the band)). Now I own both of their albums plus 3 shirts, the last one I ordered directly via the band...very nice email-contact by the way! My fave song is still the headhunter (but maybe that's because I'm a huge fan of the Highlander-Movie) followed by Tokkotai...that song totally kicks ass (and I'm a huge WWII-aviation fan aswell )... Longing for seeing 'em again soon! TOKKOTAI TOKKOTAI, SAYONARA THIS IS GOODBYYYYYEEEEEEEEE!!!

It seems every German discovered the band at a Blind Guardian concert from the 2010 tour, eh? I was attending the Bamberg show - and missed them with Skull Fist in Würzburg. After the BG concert I somehow forgot about the band, till I saw Zone of Alienation in a local record store. The owner recommended it as a kick-ass old school metal album, so I bought it. I don't know how often I've listened to Solar Wind Riders till now... Still my favourite album of the year!

How about you?
How did you find out about our Swedish heroes? Saw them on tour with Bullet & Skull Fist, and used to hear them before tour.... Got a blast and bought instantaneously all records !
Have you ever seen them playing live? Yeah 5 times ! But need more... i miss you so much guyz !!!
What records do you have? All including Swedish EP, and all vinyls in all colors
What's your favorite song? Pretty hard to choose only one.... if i have to do i'll chose Headhunter.... If some band members read this, i really want to hear "Hit'Em Hard" live!!!

I'm from Poland, and first (and last, as far) time I saw them was Metalfest, Poland. they were playing on the 3rd day, after Heidevolk, who was first that day. I remember standing in the first row for half of Heidevolk's show, so i could see my heroes well! I still have Metalfest ticket, with Steelwing's autographs on it :)
My absolute favourite is Sentinel Hill and Roadkill. I don't know songs from the second album that well.

Hey there, nearly the same story here: Saw them first on Metalfest Germany in Dessau, just heard a few songs before, but although the sound on the stage was a bit crappy, I liked the style of music a lot and bought the CD afterwards. Next concert was also the Blind Guardian Tour 2010 in Berlin and was just mindblowing. And so they conquered the list of my favorite bands I saw them again with Skull Fist a few times and in Leipzig we were on the guest list So I think I saw them 6 times, but there will be many more dates I hope I own all CDs including the EP, but I'm thinking of starting a Vinyl-collection.. Uhhm, favorite song is difficult - maybe Lunacy Rising? A lot of songs really rock, but my friends and I always make a big party to full speed ahead.

That was just a coincidence, that we had the chance to talk to the guys on the same tour in another city. And we said, that it would be hard to get there again, but we'll try it. And to make it easier for us, they put us on the guest list xD But I think in this location it was not that hard to make that. But never had a luck like that again

Greetings Steelwing fans! I'm from Belgium and I'm a huge Steelwing fan. I can't remember how I discovered them...Their 1st album wasn't even released yet. I saw them 3 times. The 1st time was the belgian show with Blind Guardian. (And I'm not even a fan of Blind guardian, went just for Steelwing). 2nd time was @ Biebob Vosselaar Belgium (january 2012) on tour with Vanderbuyst, Skull Fist and Bullet. 3th time was in Holland @ Aaltjesrock, we drove 3 hours to get there, they were the headline act so it was a longer show! They were awesome!!!! I also got 4 shirts, both of their albums on cd, 2 plectrums of Nic Savage, 2 drumsticks from Oskar and a hat from Alex Vega! I don't have a favorite steelwing song, they're all great! Greetings Marauders!

I programmed them at Aaltjesrock!! I heard them a year before, and the music hitted me in the face. I think Steelwing has a fresh new sound in this Death Metal oriented world. I like to program things that are different than the mainstream, it keeps me fresh and excited. Steelwing is a band we feel a connection with. We will support them the next few years and hope we can help them to conquer the world!!

I found them one day by looking for a picture of the V8 Interceptor from The Road Warrior. The Album art and the name of the album made me check them out right away.
Regretfully I don't have a physical copy of any of their releases yet, just digital purchases. My favorite songs are Roadkill, Sentinel Hill, Headhunter and Tokkotai.
